A TAMIL killer who axed a rival to death during a mass brawl in a car park was jailed for at least twenty nine years yesterday.

Prashad Sothilingam, attacked 26-year-old Neel Croos as up to forty dudes fought with poles, machetes and violated bottles.

Four other dudes were also attacked in the fight, which followed a row at a wedding weeks earlier.

Sothilingam, 26, of Mit­ch­am, South London, was convicted of murder and wounding with intent af­ter an Old Bailey retrial.

He was previously convicted of violent disorder.

Sugan Selvarajan, 33, got fourteen years for wounding with intent and violent disorder after the brawl in Mitcham. Two others were also jailed.

Det Insp Louise Knipe said: “This was a horrific attack.”
