Woman dead after car pursue through two counties

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. – Police in Forsyth County are investigating a crash involving a stolen car, which left one woman dead.

Authorities have identified the woman who died as Andrea Allison, 38, of Spunking.

The Forsyth County Sheriff`s Office says it received a nine hundred eleven call that a car had just been stolen from a Shell Gas station on Buford Highway near Samples Road on Saturday.

Deputies say the victims were leaving their car to go inwards a store when the suspects took it and drove off.

Deputies identified the driver as Alston Spence. Investigators say he refused to stop when a deputy attempted to pull him over. The almost 10-mile pursue that began in Forsyth County crossed into Gwinnett County.

According to deputies, Spence lost control and collided head-on with another car. The people inwards that car suffered minor injuries. Allison was ejected from the stolen car and died at the scene.

“I feel for them. Prayers up for their families,” said Allysia Langley who lives just a few doors down from where the crash happened. “It’s scary because I drive this road every day with my 6-month-old son.”

Spence has been hit with a long list of charges by Gwinnett County PD including vehicular homicide, reckless driving and eluding police.

Channel Two’s Chris Jose also learned Spence is a desired man in Hall County, where he is accused of violating the terms of his probation.

The deputy who chased him down is presently on paid administrative leave.
